Some of the greatest true stories in Chinese history never made it into your schoolbooks. These are those stories, told the way a friend tells them: no dates to memorize, no names you’re supposed to already know. Just people, impossible choices, and endings you won’t believe — every one of them real.

Since you’re already here
You’ve just walked into the longest story ever told.
01
One story, told for 2,000 years straight
For more than two thousand years, every new Chinese dynasty appointed historians to write down the story of the one before it. One continuous record — never interrupted, still being told. Nothing else on Earth comes close.
02
Wilder than any drama
Schemes, betrayals, impossible comebacks — and yes, love, all playing out in ancient China. Twists a screenwriter would cut for being too much. Every one of them is in the record, because every one of them happened.
03
So why have you never heard them?
The names. Three kings in a row named Ying, a dozen look-alike kingdoms — even native Chinese speakers lose the thread. That’s the wall that kept these stories from you. I grew up inside them, and I retell the ones I love with the wall taken down: nothing to memorize, nothing to look up.

Watch the film.
The films on my channel tell each story start to finish — free, no background needed.
Expansion packs collect everything that didn’t fit on screen — more story, more strange, more real.

The film ends. The story doesn’t.
That’s what the club is for. When a new film from Chinese history drops, I do my best to ship an expansion pack alongside it: who’s who (I keep track, so you don’t have to), the details too strange to fit in the script, and the question the story leaves you with. Members get every one, free, the day it lands.
Between films, I’ll write only when there’s something worth writing — a new story going up, a strange-and-true find along the way. That’s it.
The latest one is for my upcoming film: the man who was traded for five sheepskins — and ended up running the strongest country of his time, at seventy.

The storyteller
Who’s telling these stories?
Me. I’m Yuie. I grew up inside these Chinese history stories — and it turns out most of the people I meet have never heard a single one of them. Fixing that has become my favorite thing to do.
